I have learned about the Blog. Blog actually divided into several types which are..

Weblog is a frequently updated website like an online journal. It is easy to set up and maintain. It also can display pictures videos as well as text. Weblog is also an open public domain and easily accessible online resource.

Tutor Blog is a blog run by teacher of a class. Blog content can be made up of syllabus material, course information, homework and assignments. Some tutor blogs also shares about reflections, culture and experiences that are related to the teaching material. Students restricted to comments section.

Class Blog is a site shared between class members. Teachers and students are able to post in the main section as well as comment. Class blogs can be used as a collaborative discussion space. Students are more involved with the content and the teacher act as moderator.

Learner Blog is a students own personal blog. It can be used as online journal where students are encouraged to share thoughts, reflect on lesson or write about what interests them. It encourages frequent out-of-class writing. It also takes more time and effort for teachers to implement.
